Production sessions for artists who want to level up.
In my Kreuzberg studio or online. Many of the people I work with have been making music for years, others are just getting started. We work on one track, and one problem, at a time.
Initial call isn't a lesson, and it doesn't cost anything. Thirty minutes to get to know each other, talk through what you're working on, your goals, and whether sessions would help. No pitch or pressure.

Three types of students I keep meeting.
You start more than you finish.
You have no shortage of ideas. Loops and hooks that sound great for a few bars, then stall. Turning one of them into a finished track is a different skill, and it's mostly a sequence of decisions nobody makes for you. Often it isn't that you don't know what to do. It's that you can't tell if you've done it right, and you don't know how to check. We work on that, and on stepping away and coming back instead of forcing a track in one sitting.
You finish tracks, but they never sound like the ones you play.
You know exactly what a great track sounds like, because you play them out. Your own come out clean and competent and still miss it. That gap is closeable. Usually it's the sounds you start with, and the warmth that's missing after: the right compression, saturation and distortion. It's how everything sits together, not any single sound on its own. We work on that, on your music.
You can't hear your own tracks anymore.
Fourth week on the same arrangement and you can't tell whether it's finished or ruined. Listen to the same loop enough times and you forget how it hit the first time. This is a second set of ears with no reason to flatter you: someone who knows your references and will tell you what's fighting in the mix and whether it's done. Standing sessions or one-offs, whatever you need.
Most people arrive somewhere between two of these. The call sorts out which.
Where this comes from
I came to this through composition, not the club. I studied music composition to a master's degree and taught music theory for years before techno was the point. The production runs just as deep: twenty years on synths, drum machines, modular and Ableton, plus recording, mixing and mastering other people's records. I've taught modular at Northwestern University, and I still play out. What it adds up to: I can usually hear what a track needs, and teach you to hear it too.
Sessions are built around your music and your goals.
The first session, I listen to what you're making and we build from there. After that, every session has one project, yours, and one thing we're trying to get past. Send me a bounce whenever you're stuck at two in the morning and you'll get a voice memo back. A lot of the real progress happens between sessions. And if we work together long enough to finish something, we finish it properly. Mixed, done, out.
Thirty minutes to work out if this is for you.
We talk through what you're working on, where you want it to go, and whether sessions would actually help. If they wouldn't, you'll hear that on the call. If you want to share something in advance, a loop or a rough mix, great, but it's not required. Cadence, session length, and rate get settled here.
